Qualitative Researcher


 
Applications are invited for a Qualitative Research to work with a team working with Dr Anne-Marie Boylan on a research project aiming to improve communication for South Asian women about menopause.

The successful applicant will act as the Lead Qualitative Researcher. Responsibilities will include conducting a scoping review, interviewing women from South Asian backgrounds about their views and experiences, conducing thematic analyses and reporting the research.
You will hold, or be close to completing, a PhD in a Social Science or related field. You will have experience conducing scoping reviews, qualitative interviews and analysis. You will be a woman, from a South Asian background and fluent in at least one South Asian language. This is a genuine occupational requirement for this role and is therefore exempt under the Equality Act 2010.
You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work. You may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
The position is funded by the NIHR School for Primary Care Research for 18 months in the first instance.
