At DB Cargo UK, we're looking for a Wagon Fitter to join our Maintenance Team at Milford Haven.
As a Wagon Fitter you'll be responsible for maintaining, overhauling and refurbishing rolling stock in accordance with the relevant regime and specification.

This includes but is not limited to – fault finding, rectification work, damage repairs, modification and work arising.
To ensure that stock levels are kept and stock is stored correctly.
To order / reorder stock as required.
To carry out damage reports / overload inspections on behalf of the customer and provide all documentation including photographs when required.
To submit quotes and final costs for 3rdparty work
Complete all relevant documentation relating to all work carried out on any rolling stock vehicle including completing and sending the Axiom proforma work order form V2 to the Field Maintenance Assistant
To correctly file / store all rolling stock documentation
To communicate stoppages and up date on the progress of rolling stock to the Field Maintenance Coordinator via telephone.
To complete and send stoppage forms to the Field Maintenance Coordinator before 09.00am each day via email or fax.
Loading of PCA cement tanks, including shunting, and driving duties
Applicants must have a hands on mechanical engineering background
A NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and a completed apprenticeship would be a distinct advantage.
Rail industry experience would also be an advantage.
You must also be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
We are offering a salary of £25,309 per annum.
