Vale of Evesham School is a Specialist School for Cognition and Learning. The school caters for pupils who have moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. The school has a residential provision for weekly boarders, which ensures that we offer a 24-hour curriculum for up to 15 pupils. Many of our pupils have other barriers to their learning including autism, challenging behaviour, physical disabilities and complex health needs.
We are currently looking for Care Officers to join our committed residential staff team in supporting our pupils before and after school. Normal working hours are Monday to Thursday evenings, and Tuesday to Friday mornings, with some Monday to Friday daytime working, on a set shift pattern.

Thursday 7am-9am & 3pm-8pm
Friday 7am-9:30am
Plus 1.5 hours per week administration time.
The post benefits from set shift patterns, with no weekend or bank holiday working required. It is a term time only position, so you would not be required to work during school holidays. Sleep-in duties may be required, these are paid separately in addition to the above salary.
