Neurodevelopmental Assessment Coordinator


 

Are you a registered RMN or RNLD looking for your next challenge? At Onebright, we have launched our Neurodevelopmental Assessment Services and are expanding our team to support our clients.

You will be joining the Onebright Psychiatric Services team, in a period of exciting growth and change. We now need to increase support to our clients with a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Coordinator to be at the heart of our assessment service.

As a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the service caseload where you will provide pro-active case management, triage, client liaison, administrative support and be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to maintain regular contact with our clients, customers and psychiatrists.

You will provide a consistent, high quality level of service at all times, against defined criteria, to meet and where possible exceed expectations. You will ensure that agreed service levels are achieved, enabling the service to grow. This role presents the ‘face’ of the business and as such the post holder must act in a professional manner at all times and perform all tasks in an efficient and effective manner.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Triage and review referrals into to the service to ensure clients have access to safe and appropriate care.
  • Conduct further risk and mental health assessments where appropriate.
  • Refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary
  • Support a broad range of case management and administration for a caseload of clients and prospective clients.
  • Support the wider Onebright case management team with clinical decision making and management of referrals.
  • Provide follow-up care and advice, including monitoring of medication.
  • Organise, plan, prioritise, and continuously improve processes to work as efficiently as possible.
  • Work within defined referral, assessment and treatment pathways, identifying any barriers and working creatively to overcome these.
  • Adhere to the service level agreements as agreed between the company and their clients and perform the administrative activities required daily in order to ensure that all service levels are achieved, and cases are kept up to date.
  • Liaise with other agencies and stakeholders and ensure information is shared in a safe and secure manner.
  • Obtain and collate information from all relevant sources, to enable high quality management of cases.
  • Document and record all information by updating our Case Management Systems to ensure a clear and accurate record of each case is stored.
  • Escalate any risk or safeguarding issues identified via the appropriate channels and ensure all incidents are reported via the service incident reporting system in a timely manner.
  • Undertake inbound and outbound calls to manage relationships, answer queries, progress client assessments and treatment, and support the client and clinical team in delivering effective services.
  • Maintain information governance and security processes, and own technical awareness to apply learning and knowledge to the role.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of CQC regulation requirements and support the service in ensuring compliance with all regulations and relevant Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOE) quality statements.
  • Assist in service quality audits, including collecting client feedback and engaging with clients to understand concerns or complaints.
  • Attend and fulfil all the requirements of any agreed training and supervision provided within the service

To be considered for this opportunity to you will need to:

  • Hold professional registration with NMC (Only RMN / RNLD)
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent IT and administrative skills and be able to work across multiple client management systems.
  • Demonstrate your experience in a mental health setting or have direct experience of Neurodevelopmental services.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, and meet critical deadlines, whilst maintaining a positive attitude and high level of client focus.

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
